I’m totally pumped for this game! I loved the original Aliens vs. Predator game that Rebellion produced back in the day. Spent many nights battling online with my 56k connection. Check out the teaser trailer for the new Aliens vs. Predator (again produced by Rebellion):

Excellent Customer Service

So I woke up the other morning and headed to the computer to adjust my fantasy baseball lineups only to discover that my lovely G5 laser gaming mouse was dead! The buttons still worked, but no movement what-so-ever. After unplugging and plugging it several times followed by a plethora of computer restarts, I started to get pretty upset seeing as I’ve only owned it for a few months. I decided to call Logitech’s customer service, but expected nothing other than “We can send you a box, you send us the mouse, we’ll examine it and if it’s deemed necessary, we’ll send you a new one in a million months.” I, however, would soon be in shock and awe. The customer service representative asked me a few questions to test it and then uttered these words: “We’ll send you out a new one right now and we don’t need the old one back. Enjoy!” I about fell to the floor. If that’s not customer service, I don’t know what is. So, thanks Logitech, you rock!

MOHAA-ATHON #10

The guys over at MOHAA-ATHON are at it again with their tenth Medal of Honor: Allied Assault tournament. The tournament starts on Friday, April 17th and runs through Saturday, April 18th. It features twelve North American servers and five European servers to play on. And oh yeah, it’s FREE! For more information, head on over to their website.

Planet Medal of Honor recently interviewed me and they have now posted it on their website. It talks about my new job here at EA among other interesting things. Here’s an excerpt:

Josh: A big issue with PC gamers is that Developers/Producers will stop support for the PC version of a game after two or three patches; will you ensure that support continues on?

Matt: I will do everything in my power to ensure that titles are heavily supported. Everyone at EALA really wants our games to succeed, so we are going to do our best to provide that support.
